Why does my order need extra verification?
If your order(s) status shows as "Need verification", check the most common reasons for flagged payments below:
- The billing address you provided does not match the address registered to the debit/credit card (AVS mismatch or not defined).
- Unusual activities detected by payment gateways.
The payment will be manually determined for these reasons and captured within 24 business hours from when it is received at the gateway. If your order needs extra documents for verification, an email informing you of the flagged transaction will be sent to ask for a picture of your ID or the utility bills (electricity, water, and gas) that verifies your identity.
When providing your ID, make sure that
- You hide all information except your name, address, and photo on the ID card.
- The name on the ID card matches the cardholder name used at checkout.
Note: In an effort to reduce fraudulent transactions and increase credit card security, all flagged orders are automatically canceled after 7 days if there are no steps taken to verify your identity.
