Trial & Return & Exchange Policy
The following policy applies for items Sold and shipped by Autonomous only (“Autonomous Products” or “Products") and does not cover products manufactured by other brands sold under the Dropship model. For any products Sold and shipped by a Vendor other than Autonomous (“Vendor Products"), please refer to Dropship Product TOU.
Free Trial Policy
We provide all Autonomous products in the UK, Switzerland, and the EU countries with a 15-day trial.
For specific sales and promotion campaigns, please carefully read through our campaign T&Cs prior to making any purchase to determine whether the Autonomous products are eligible for the standard trial and return policy as the standard trial and return policy may not apply.
How the trial period works:
- Your trial period begins when your items are delivered. If your order consists of multiple items, each item has its own trial period depending on its actual delivery dates.
- If you order a product that is shipped in several packages, your trial period starts from the date that your last package is delivered.
- Within the trial period, you may return eligible Autonomous products if you don’t like them for any reason.
Return & Exchange Policy
Disclaimer
Return for exchange is available for almost every product Autonomous sells in certain markets. We offer free return & exchange within the trial period of 15 days for the UK, Switzerland, and the EU countries.
- To be eligible for returns, the products must be in new condition and in their original packaging, so please keep the original shipping packaging (original boxes and packaging materials) after purchase in case you might need to return the product.
- Prior to returning, all products must be disassembled so they can fit into their original packaging. Customers are fully responsible for assembling and disassembling the product.
Return Instructions:
- Return requests must be submitted via this form within 14 days of receiving the item.
- Photographic evidence showing products are still in like-new condition, and have been properly packaged into original packaging must be provided. All items must be returned in the original packaging. Very important: Without the original packaging, items can be damaged during return transit.
- Once approved, we’ll issue an RMA number and a return shipping label. Return authorizations expire 30 days after approval.
- You can either choose to bring the package to the local carrier center to return to Autonomous or call the carrier directly to arrange a pickup but Autonomous will not cover the pickup fee if any.
- Returns are typically inspected and processed within 5 business days of receipt.

Once we issue the refund, please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to appear on the original payment method or You will be sent a new exchanged item equivalent to the value of the returned item in case you request an exchange.
- Autonomous has the right to deny a refund if your returned package(s) is dropped off at the carrier center a month after your trial period ends.
Return and restocking fee:
- Autonomous will pay the return shipping cost for items eligible for the standard trial and return policy.
- The product being returned must be in its original packaging. Items without the original packaging or with damaged packaging (providing that the product remains in “like-new" condition) will incur a restocking fee of 30%. The restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund.
- A restocking fee of 30% will be applied if your returned package(s) is dropped off at the carrier center 1 week after your trial period ends and shall apply for any product that does not meet the aforementioned requirements once the Products are inspected by Autonomous.
Exceptions to Trial & Return Policy:
Our 15-day Free Trial and Return Policy do not apply to the following products and orders:
- “Only tabletop” purchase. In case you want to exchange for another top, the top must be unopened in its original package. All the exchange requests need to be submitted to us within 7 days from the delivery date. Otherwise, Autonomous reserves the right to deny your requests for exchange.
- Any installation or assembly services.
- B2B Bulk Orders. A bulk order is defined as any purchase order with more than three (03) items of the same products or a mixture of different products making up more than 3 items or any order with a value greater than $1500. Customers that have the intention to purchase Bulk Order are advised to order single items to test out prior to placing Bulk Order. B2B purchase is defined as the company requested VAT exemption.
- Replacement part order(s).
- Customized Order.
- Replacement parts.
Return exceptions:
If a product purchased from Autonomous arrived damaged or defective, you are eligible for a return without the above pre-conditions. We recommend that all shipments be inspected immediately upon arrival. Please make note of any damage to boxes when signing for the shipment.
- Report any losses or damages evidence promptly to our customer service team.
- Notification must be made within one week of delivery. Otherwise, Autonomous reserves the right to deny your claim request.
Amazon Returns
If you placed your order via Amazon please initiate your return through Amazon directly.
B2B Bulk Order
A Bulk Order placed by a business or a company can not be canceled nor returned for any reason after the order has shipped.
If a customer would like to exchange such a B2B Bulk Order, a Customer shall ensure a) the Products are unopened; b) pay the return shipping fee of the order back to the Autonomous warehouse, and for the new replacement shipment
What should I do if my product arrives damaged?
If your product arrives damaged, you can return it without the above exception. We recommend that all shipments be inspected immediately upon arrival. Please make note of any damage to boxes when signing for the shipment.
- Report any losses or damages promptly to the Smart Office team on this warranty request form.
- Notification must be made within one week of delivery. Otherwise, Autonomous reserves the right to deny your claim request.
- Save all packaging until the trial period has ended in case of return.
Please let us know immediately if your order does not arrive within the delivery time frame. We cannot be responsible for claims filed more than 15 days after the delivery period.
